On Saturday, June 16, 2007, Judd Bagley posted Scipio’s real identity in a blog item entitled, "Hoosier daddy? ScipioAfricanus uncovered in Indiana," on antisocialmedia.net. According to Judd Bagley, Scipio Africanus is identified as Albert Kidd. He includes the following warning to Albert Kidd:
However, if in responding, ScipioAfricanus or any of his allies should question the veracity of these claims, the evidence will be presented, and Albert can deal with the consequences. [Emphasis added.]
Blogger and internet sleuth, Scipio Africanus did not back down
On Sunday, June 17, 2007, Scipio Africanus posts Judd Bagley’s threat (above) on his O-Smear blog. He responds:

A couple of hours later, Evren Karpak’s threat to Scipio Africanus disappears from Yahoo. However, his threat on InvestorVillage remains published.
All of a sudden a mysterious denial of service attack is claimed by Judd Bagley on antisocialmedia.net
Later that evening, Judd Bagley claimed on antisocialmedia.net:

I noticed no denial of service attack as I visited antisocialmedia.net many times.
Other false accusations, threats, and smears published in comments posted by other persons to Judd Bagley’s posts on antisocialmedia.net disappear
Then all comments to Judd Bagley’s posts on antisocialmedia.net, including a physical threat to investigative journalist, blogger, and Byrne critic Gary Weiss disappears. Edward Manfredonia’s newest smears disappear, too. For example, this threat is gone:

A couple of weeks earlier, on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, before the threat to Gary Weiss was deleted from antisocialmedia.net, Evren Karpak carried out part of that threat to“hurt” Gary Weiss “economically.”
In a post (message number 8042) on InvestorVillage, Evren Karpak wrote that he had written letters to three of Gary Weiss's publishers: Forbes, SeekingAlpha.com, and Salon.com in an effort to have them discontinue business ties with Mr. Weiss. Judd Bagley had posted a recommendation to Evren Karpak's post on InvestorVillage. That post on InvestorVillage still remains published.
Is Overstock.com’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee finally taking action about violations to Overstock.com’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics?

While I was waiting for InvestorVillage to permit me to post again on their Overstock.com message board, I criticized them on the Yahoo message board. Later that evening I was able to post again InvestorVillage.com. However, InvestorVillage.com took quick action and deleted my posts. Paul Kaplan, attorney for InvestorVillage.com wrote me an e-mail:

As you know, your conduct on the OSTK board was deemed harassing and disruptive by many other members and resulted in dozens of complaints to board administrators. Rather than terminate your membership outright, Investor Village imposed a reasonable limit on the daily number of your posts and offered to create a special, private or semi-private board for your discussions, with unlimited posting rights. Rather than respond to this offer, you opted to post an attack on Investor Village managers, along with the full text of what was clearly labeled as a private message, in several forums. Given this apparent rejection of Investor Village’s offer, your posting rights have been suspended indefinitely. I’m sorry that this action has become necessary…. [Emphasis added.]
I saw nothing in their so-called offer that prohibited me from criticizing their actions.
After, I was booted from InvestorVillage, on February 22, 2007, in a post (message number 5014), using his alias Hannibal, Patrick Byrne responding to antisocialmedia.net contributor Evren Karpak, quoted Karpak's previous post and responded:

Antisocialmedia.net smear web site contributor and Overstock.com shareholder, Evren Karpak, apparently knows a little bit about InvestorVillage management. In a post on InvestorVillage (message number 2575), Evren Karpak wrote:

InvestorVillage is a great place for Patrick Byrne (CEO of Overstock.com), Judd Bagley (Director of Communications at Overstock.com), and their cronies to spew out threats, smears, false information, misinformation, blackmail, and anti-Semitic comments.
